keepeek digital asset management new release

GDPR compliance

Several evolutions in this version have focused on developments to ensure our compliance with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Opting for first login notifications in the Keepeek administration interface

From now on, new Keepeek users can decide whether they want to enable or disable the automatic notifications (activity in collaborative sharing, asset rights expirations, etc.). Some notifications necessary for the use of certain features are nevertheless retained.

Make the acceptance of the General Terms of Use (GTU) more explicit

The GDPR consent on first login has been made more explicit. Before, clicking on the button constituted implicit consent. From now on, one has to check a box to make this choice explicit, in accordance with the legislation in force.

Unsubscribe from email notifications

From now on, in the footer of the automatic notification emails, it is possible to unsubscribe to not receive these notifications anymore.

Readjusted cookie banner on user portals

The cookie banner has been adjusted to better respect the form required by the legislation. None of the cookies used by Keepeek require consent, as they do not store personal information. However, they are now listed so that you are informed of all the portal cookies and their usage.

Corrections in the administration interface

- In the management of the thesaurus, a correction has been made to the display of the counters and the addition of a new term, in case of user preference with activated counters.

- There was an inconsistency in the asset sharing between the warning message about the low definition download restrictions and the user rights. This is no longer the case.

- Drag and drop from one basket to another via the clipboard was not working properly, this is now fixed.

- In the custom thumbnail interface, if the list of thumbnails was long, it was impossible to access the last created thumbnail. This problem has been solved.

Correction of user portals

A correction has been made to the advanced search for fields with suggestions. They were not returning the same results as an identical search in the administration interface.

Correction AEM plugin

In the AEM plugin (Adobe Experience Manager), a robustness has been added on the detection of the 'colorspace' in the particular case of image crops.

Update date

The new version will be available on the Cloud from Wednesday September 22nd, 2021.
