The ASO group (Amaury Sport Organization) has been successfully using Keepeek software for over a year. Now tens of thousands of photos of Dakar and the Tour de France have been organized and archived in their new professional space.
This does not only concern all the latest data, but also historical images taken more than twenty years ago: this is a lively and topical database and one that also reflects the organization’s cultural background.
During the Tour de France 2012 event, the ASO group decided to further enhance its use of Keepeek. Objective: To automate the broadcast stream between the Keepeek database and www.letour.fr. The updates were required to be regular, automated and very fast. Photos of events as important as this need to be published almost as and when they are taken!
Equipe 24 naturally turned to Keepeek and the advantages of its photo library web service.
Simple and effective, this means of exchanging data allowed the Equipe24 server to regularly query the Keepeek image database in order to retrieve information concerning new and updated images. Report titles, dates, names of the riders ... all information was transmitted live to be published on the newspaper's website.
Huge thanks must go to the Equipe 24 technical team who independently set up this device in just a few days. Please do not hesitate to contact us to learn more about the web services from Keepeek.
