In the administration interface, you can in one operation send a message to all the people who have downloaded a particular piece of media. This feature is useful for example to notify users that a new version of the media has been made available.
This feature is useful for example to notify users that a new version of the media has been made available, or if there is a rights issue with the media and all users need to be informed that they should no longer use the media.To take advantage of this feature, go to the media details and click on the aeroplane icon in the top right corner and select the 'Notify users' function. A window will open to select the type(s) of user(s) to contact. Select the box for users who have 'downloaded this item', type in your message and click 'notify'.
Those who have downloaded the media will immediately receive a notification with a link to the application:It is also possible to use this feature from the mosaic by selecting one or more items.
