News about the 4.61 Keepeek release

New Keepeek release!

Alert users: new options

Until now, the ‘Alert users’ feature gave you the opportunity to notify users who had downloaded, distributed and/or modified an asset (e.g.: end of rights, new replacement file, etc.).

This feature now provides a new possibility: to inform users who have not yet accessed an asset, by sending batch notifications (specific users and/or entire groups). This can be useful to notify that a new asset of interest has been made available.

For example, I put a media kit online for the launch of a new product. I can make sure that all users in the ‘marketing teams’ group receive an email notification to inform them and guide them directly to the asset. To avoid sending unnecessary emails, they will not receive a notification if they have already viewed the content.

Customize status colors

Until now, the status color code was limited to three colors: gray for draft statuses, green for published statuses or orange for archived statuses. From version 4.61 onwards, it is possible to customize the status color to better distinguish between the various statuses of the same set.

Storage: make settings for video formats adjustable

It is now possible to adjust some parameters of the pre-generated video formats to find a better compromise between quality and storage space. If you want to take advantage of this feature, please contact us at: csm@keepeek.com

Disable duplicate detection on import

It is now possible to disable automatic duplicate detection on upload. If you want to disable this option, please send your request to the following address: csm@keepeek.com

Changes in the API

Exposing the rights on the folders of the current user in the API

In order to obtain the tree structure of the folder tree via the API, the level of rights (read, write…) of the current user has been added.

Completion elements for thesaurus type fields

It is now possible to get suggested terms from a thesaurus type field. These suggestions are comprehensive terms (identifier, term, synonyms…) of the thesaurus.

API correction

An inconsistency existed in the filters provided during a search, for thesaurus type fields. The synonyms were integrated in them, making the filters unusable to trigger a new search.
Synonyms have been removed from the filters that were brought up.

Administration interface corrections

– Correction of a display bug when adding terms to the root of a thesaurus.

– Correction to keep the search context in the navigation of advanced searches.

Update date

The new version will be available on the Cloud from Wednesday August 11, 2021.
