In recent years, Keepeek and Akeneo have already completed several joint integrations. This French publisher, world leader in PIM (Product Information Management), was recently included in the French Tech Next 40 ranking. So it was high time to make our partnership official. Now it's done, with a powerful technological alliance between our 2 solutions!
By combining the advanced functionalities of PIM and DAM (Digital Asset Management), the Keepeek/Akeneo integrationaddresses the major issues facing the retail sector.
In its global B2B 2020 surveysurvey, Akeneo highlighted image and video management as one of the top three difficulties in managing product information. 39% of those surveyed admitted to having difficulty managing their products' digital content (images, videos, pdf, etc.). These difficulties prevent them from promoting their products effectively.
To solve this problem, more and more players in the retail sector, such as Oxybul or Renault are equipping themselves with Keepeek DAM to:
- centralize all their images, videos, catalogs, leaflets and other digital content products;
- benefit from automatic format generation and version management features;
- automate the processes of feeding, validating and distributing their content to their e-commerce platforms, websites and other distribution channels.
Keepeek's integration team synchronizes data between the Keepeek DAM and the Akeneo PIM. Keepeek also provides Akeneo, via its API, with the URLs of the different distribution formats required for each media (image, video, etc.).
This centralized system simplifies the supply and updating of media. When a product image becomes obsolete, it can be replaced in Keepeek. The system then updates it in real time on all distribution channels. No manual intervention is required.
